THERMAGrunt-SN is used for priming substrates to create an adhesive layer before applying a layer of THERMATynk-SN silicone plaster. It is a universal primer for all types of substrates.
- Dyed from the 365 ARSANIT color palette or on individual order.
- Limits the possibility of stains forming on the plaster surface.
- We recommend Sprinter-FT as an agent that accelerates setting and drying.
- ready-to-use foundation,
- for indoor and outdoor use,
- facilitates plaster laying,
- improves grip,
- evens the absorbency of the substrate,
- flexible and waterproof,
- gives the primed surface roughness,
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- CONSUMPTION: approximately 0.2 l per 1 m2,
- Drying time: about 4 hours,
- Application temperature: from +5°C to +28°C,
- Shelf life: 12 months,
- For use: outdoors and indoors,
APPLICATION:
THERMAGrunt-SN is a primer plaster intended for preparing the substrate for thin-layer THERMATynk-SN silicone plasters . It can be used on all even and load-bearing mineral substrates, such as concrete, plaster, traditional cement or cement-lime plasters, plasterboards and others. Can be used indoors and outdoors.
PROPERTIES:
THERMAGrunt-SN is a ready-to-use mass produced on the basis of synthetic resins and quartz flour. It is a white primer. We also offer other colors upon request. THERMAGrunt-SN is an efficient, convenient and easy-to-use product. The filler content gives the primed surface a roughness that facilitates the application of subsequent layers and increases the adhesion of the plaster connection to the substrate. The use of THERMAGrunt-SN primer plaster not only improves adhesion but also reduces the possibility of stains appearing on the surface of thin-layer plaster resulting from improper preparation of the substrate or its properties.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
The substrate should be stable, even and sufficiently strong, free from layers that may impair adhesion, especially dust, dirt, lime, oil, grease and wax. Old paint and plaster coatings with insufficient adhesion should be removed.
Irregularities and defects should be leveled and removed. If algae or fungi grow, the substrate should be cleaned mechanically, then washed with water and disinfected with ANTIGLO.
When applying the preparation on newly made mineral substrates, such as cement or cement-lime plaster, allow a minimum of 3 days for the drying period. The agent can be applied only after it has completely dried, which under normal conditions takes about 3 days.
TOOLS:
Roller or paint brush. Tools should be washed with clean water immediately after use.
HOW TO USE:
THERMAGrunt-SN primer plaster is delivered ready-to-use. It must not be combined with other materials, diluted or thickened. Immediately before use, the mass should be stirred to even out the consistency. The THERMAGrunt-SN primer should be spread evenly over the entire surface using a roller or brush on the prepared substrate. Do not apply the mass at temperatures below +5°C. Plastering the surface can be started after the mass has completely dried, i.e. approximately 5-6 hours after its application.
WEAR NORMS:
The average consumption is approximately 0.2 L per 1 m2
