JOKER FARB NANO-SN is a paint based on special nanotechnology based on organic and inorganic chemistry, intended for painting cement, cement-lime, lime, thin-layer mineral, concrete or gypsum plasters. The use of JOKER FARB NANO-SN paint is especially recommended for painting historic and industrial buildings. It is also suitable for use on residential buildings, farm buildings, as well as on other buildings and construction elements particularly exposed to the damaging effects of weather conditions and surface contamination. JOKER FARB NANO-SN is a paint resistant to the development of algae and fungi.

Building facades can be painted after complete drying, no earlier than:


- cement plasters - painting after a minimum of 14 days,  
- cement and lime - painting after a minimum of 14 days,
- limestone - painting after a minimum of 14 days,
- thin-layer mineral plasters - painting after a minimum of 14 days,
- concrete - painting after a minimum of 28 days,
- plaster only inside,


 Plasters can be painted after complete drying, not earlier than:

- mineral plasters: after 3-4 weeks,
- acrylic plasters: after 7 days,
- silicone plasters: after 7 days,
- nano-silicone plasters: after 7 days,



PROPERTIES:


JOKER FARB NANO-SN is a paint produced on the basis of nanoparticles, which ensures very good covering properties and makes the painted surface resistant to dirt, algae and fungi. The nano-silicone coating of the JOKER FARB NANO-SN paint is matte and smooth and the structure is nanoporous, which allows for the free transport of water vapor and release of moisture through the façade on which the paint has been applied. JOKER FARB NANO-SN is a modern paint that combines the advantages of synthetic (polymer) and mineral paint. In this way, a combination of flexibility with exceptional hardness and vapor permeability is achieved. JOKER FARB NANO-SN has the ability to self-clean, which limits the possibility of algae and fungi settling and growing on the painted surface. The paint offers exceptional resistance to dirt, exceptional resistance to chalking and color durability. JOKER FARB NANO-SN paint is resistant to weathering, changing weather conditions, chemical factors and UV radiation.


PAINT PREPARATION:

JOKER FARB NANO-SN is delivered ready to use. Before use, it must be thoroughly mixed to even out the consistency, using a low-speed drill with a mixer. For the first painting, you can add a maximum of 2% clean water - one 200 ml glass for a 10 liter container of paint. The adopted dilution proportions should be maintained on the entire painted surface.




PREPARATION OF THE FACADE FOR PAINTING

Here are some steps you should take before painting your facade.




CLEANING THE FACADE:

Before painting the facade, it should be thoroughly cleaned; the substrate should be dry, stable and free from dust, dirt and grease. Old, loose and cracked paint coatings should be removed. This can be done using a pressure washer or special cleaning agents.


REPAIR OF DAMAGES:

If there are any damages, defects or cracks on the facade, they should be repaired and filled with special RAPID repair compounds:

- ZW-013 MORTAR,
- RAPID CONCRETE RC-10,
- RAPID CONCRETE RC-20,
- RAPID CONCRETE RC-30,  

  
PRIMING:

Before painting the facade, it should be primed with JOKER GRUNT NANO-SN. The primer will ensure better adhesion of the paint to the substrate and protect the facade against moisture.


PAINTING:


The facade can be painted with a roller or brush. JOKER FARB NANO-SN paint is applied from the top of the facade, creating even, overlapping stripes.


TOOLS:

Brush, paint roller or machine. Tools should be washed with clean water immediately after use.

STEP 1: Clean the facade from dust, dirt and grease using a pressure washer, and remove old, loose and cracked paint coatings.

STEP 2: Repairing damaged and cracked façades with the RAPID repair kit:

- ZW-013 MORTAR,
- RAPID CONCRETE RC-10,
- RAPID CONCRETE RC-20,
- RAPID CONCRETE RC-30,


STEP 3: Substrates with high water absorption and absorbency should be primed with JOKER GRUNT NANO-SN.

STEP 4: Painting the facade with the selected color. Colored from a palette of 365 colors or on individual order.



HOW TO USE:

Apply a thin, even layer of JOKER FARB NANO-SN paint onto the prepared and primed substrate with JOKER GRUNT NANO-SN primer. The paint can be applied with a roller, brush or spraying method, not earlier than 6 hours after priming the substrate. The paint should be applied once or twice, depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate. The second layer should be applied crosswise to the first one after a minimum of 6 hours. Breaks during painting should be planned in advance, for example in the corners and bends of the building, under downpipes, at the junction of colors, etc. Paint should be applied to the planned surface continuously, avoiding interruptions in work. The painted surface should be protected, both during the work and while the paint is drying, against direct sunlight, wind and precipitation. The drying time of the paint, depending on the substrate, temperature and relative air humidity, is approximately 30 minutes.



ATTENTION:

To avoid differences in color shades when using colored paints, paint with the same production date should be applied to one surface. As a result of painting, the surface texture naturally becomes slightly smoother. Painting surfaces that differ in texture and technical parameters may result in the effect of different shades of a given paint color.

This information constitutes basic guidelines for the use of the product and does not exempt you from the obligation to perform work in accordance with the principles of construction practice.



WEAR NORMS:

When painting twice, an average of 0.30 L/m2 of paint is used on a smooth surface.
In practice, consumption depends on the thickness of the applied paint layer and the absorbency and texture of the substrate. Therefore, we recommend that it be determined precisely on a sample basis.


FOR PLASTER CONSUMPTION IS:

- for mineral plasters, approximately 1 L of paint per 4.0 m2,
- for acrylic, silicone and nano-silicone plasters, approximately 1 L of paint per 4.5 m2,



STORAGE AND TRANSPORT:

Transport and store in tightly closed buckets, in dry conditions, preferably on pallets. 
At positive temperatures from +5°C to +28°C.

Protect against overheating.


SHELF PERIOD:

12 months from the production date indicated on the packaging.
