ZAPRAWA ZTM-019 O - cement mortar is intended for machine or manual preparation of cement plaster coating for plaster coatings and primer plasters. The substrates can be concrete walls and ceilings, made of ceramic elements, lime-sand elements, lightweight concrete elements, etc. When mixed with water, the mortar creates a homogeneous plaster mass with very good adhesion to the surface. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
- The mortar strengthens the substrate,
- Leveling the absorbency of the substrate,
- High adhesion to the ground,
- Creates a contact layer,
- Waterproof,
- Frost-resistant,
PROPERTIES:
Produced on the basis of cement and the highest quality minerals, it is very comfortable, easy to use, and at the same time very efficient.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Consumption: up to 1.4 kg/m2 per 1 mm of mortar layer thickness,
- Mixing proportions: approximately 4.80 L of water per 30 kg of mortar,
- Layer thickness 4 mm–8 mm,
- Application temperature: +5°C to +28°C,
- For use: outdoor / indoor,
- Application method: machine / hand,
- Grain size: 0.0 – 2.0 mm,
- Shelf life: 9 months,
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
It is recommended to apply plaster after the period of settling, shrinkage and drying of the walls or shrinkage of walls and other concrete elements, such as:
- after at least 2-3 months in the case of brick walls,
- at least 4-6 months after the construction of walls and concrete elements,
The substrates should be durable, stiff, not changing dimensions, and even to avoid places of excessive plaster thickening. Plastered surfaces should be free from dust, soot, fats, grease, organic agents, paints, etc.
The dry substrate should be wetted with clean water immediately before plastering:
- wet brick walls with moderately clean water,
- wet concrete walls abundantly with clean water,
- wet highly absorbent substrates, aerated concrete and aerated concrete, with moderately clean water,
MORTAR PREPARATION:
In the case of manual mixing, the dry mixture should be mixed with an appropriate amount of clean water (approximately 4.8 Liters), mixing mechanically using a mortar mixer or concrete mixer. The mechanical mixing time should be 2-3 minutes. After mixing the first batch of mortar, check its consistency and correct the amount of water added. The established mixing ratio with water should be recorded so that subsequent batches of mortar are prepared in the same way.
When mixing mortars in a unit or plastering machine, ensure appropriate water dosage and follow the instructions for use of the device.
Do not mix the hardened mortar with water or mix it with fresh material.
HOW TO USE:
The mortar should be applied to the entire plastered surface using a plastering unit or plastering trowel. The break between the coat and the plastering or primer plaster must be at least 24 hours at an air temperature of +10°C / +20°C. In conditions of lower temperature and increased air humidity, this time is extended. All plastering works should be carried out in dry weather, with little sunlight and little wind. If it is necessary to carry out work in unfavorable conditions, appropriate covers should be used to limit the influence of weather conditions. Plastered rooms should be well ventilated, but drafts should not be allowed or the mortar should not dry out too quickly as a result of sunlight or heating. If necessary, the plaster should be moistened with clean water from time to time.
