ZAPRAWA ZW-013 - the mortar is intended for quick leveling of surfaces before laying ceramic tiles or performing other construction works, for example pouring thin-layer floor screeds. It should be used to level defects and depressions as well as other local surface irregularities. To level larger surfaces, use ZAPRAWA ZT-05 for walls and ZAPRAWA ZP-07 for floors. It can be used inside and outside the building, using a layer of 5 mm - 15 mm thick.

ZAPRAWA ZW-013 is a ready-made, dry mixture based on cement, aggregates and appropriately selected modifying additives. It has very good adhesion to various types of substrates. Thanks to its parameters, it is an efficient, comfortable and easy-to-use product. Used as a leveling layer before cladding, it allows you to properly prepare the substrate and save adhesive mortar. ZAPRAWA ZW-013 is a waterproof product.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The substrate should be dry, stable and load-bearing, free from contamination such as dirt, lime, oil, grease, wax and paint remnants. Scratches and cracks should be thickened before filling with mortar. Excessive absorbency of the substrate should be reduced by using AKRYL GRUNT GRUNTEX priming emulsion.


TOOLS:

A drill with a mixer, a trowel, a smooth steel trowel, a Styrofoam or felt trowel. Tools should be cleaned with clean water immediately after use.

MORTAR PREPARATION:

The mortar is prepared by pouring the dry mixture into a container with 3.75 L / 4.00 Liters of water per 25 kg and mixing until a uniform mass is obtained. This operation is best performed mechanically, using a drill with a mixer. The mortar is suitable for use immediately after mixing. The prepared mortar should be used within approximately 2 hours.


EXECUTION:

The mortar should be applied to a previously prepared and primed substrate with AKRYL GRUNT GRUNTEX primer using a trowel or a smooth steel trowel. You can apply a layer of mortar with a thickness not exceeding 15 mm at a time. After 30-90 minutes after applying the mortar (depending on the parameters of the substrate and the surroundings), it can be troweled with a felt or Styrofoam trowel, or smoothed with a steel trowel. When using this mortar on larger surfaces, it is necessary to cut the fresh mortar with a trowel or trowel. The time to lay the tiles is 5 hours for each 1 cm of thickness of the leveling layer. The mortar reaches full strength after 3 days.


Substrate temperature during application from +5°C to +28°C.



RECOMMENDATIONS:

The manual specifies the scope of use of the product and the recommended method of performing the work, but cannot replace the professional preparation of the contractor. The manufacturer guarantees the quality of the product, but has no influence on the conditions and method of its use.


ATTENTION:

The mortar contains cement. Protect eyes and skin. If the eye is blocked, rinse with plenty of water.



STORAGE AND TRANSPORT:

The mortar should be transported and stored in tightly closed bags, in dry conditions, preferably on pallets.

Protect from moisture.


SHELF PERIOD:

12 months from the production date indicated on the packaging.
