CERAMIK CE-02 is a flexible thin-bed adhesive for bonding all types of wall and floor tiles with a maximum dimension of 33 cm × 33 cm both indoors and outdoors. The adhesive with very high adhesion is used for fixing tiles, terracotta, natural stone façade tiles on any dry or damp ceramic substrate, precast concrete, aerated concrete, traditional plaster, plasterboard and gypsum plaster. The adhesive is also ideal for use on balconies and terraces, and in underfloor heating systems.

PROPERTIES:

CERAMIK CE-02 is a flexible tile adhesive, frost and water resistant, with versatile application. It is characterised by very high adhesion and increased elasticity. The adhesive is extremely convenient to use, easy to apply and at the same time very efficient.



IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- Proportions: 6.0 - 6.75 L of water per 25 kg of mortar,
- Thickness of adhesive layer: 2 mm - 5 mm,
- Application temperature: +5°C to +28°C,
- Water resistance: YES,
- Frost resistance: YES,
- Permissible tile formats: up to 40 cm,
- Grouting: after 24 hours,
- Floor use: after 24 hours,
- Open time: 20 minutes,

MIX PROPORTIONS:

Pour the dry adhesive mortar mixture into approximately 6.5 L of water and mix thoroughly by hand or mechanically until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The adhesive is suitable for use after 5 minutes and re-mixing. The adhesive mortar should be used within 3 hours.


Tile laying time after adhesive application: maximum 10 minutes,
Layer thickness: max. 5 mm,
Grouting possible: after a minimum of 48 hours,
Spreading rate: approx. 5.5 m²/bag,

Cleaning the substrate from oil, grease, paint 
and other residues.

Priming the substrate with a suitable primer.

Bonding and correcting tiles with a permissible tile size of up to 30cm.

EXECUTION:

Work should be carried out at a temperature between +5°C and +28°C. The substrate to which CERAMIK CE-02 adhesive is applied should be dry, clean, free from grease, remains of paint and other paint coatings. Highly absorbent substrates should be primed with AKRYL GRUNT STRONGER. When bonding to difficult, unstable substrates, an adhesion test should be carried out. Apply the adhesive mortar on the prepared substrate with a 3mm - 8mm notched trowel. Tile bonding should be carried out within 20 minutes of applying the mortar to the substrate. Tile correction time is approximately 10 minutes. The thickness of the layer should not exceed 5mm. Once fully set, proceed to grouting.

Note: Do not soak the tiles before bonding!

The instruction specifies the scope of application of the product and how the work should be carried out, but cannot replace the professional preparation of the work contractor. The manufacturer guarantees the quality of the product, but has no influence on the conditions and method of use. 


NOTE:

The mortar contains cement. Protect eyes and skin. In case of eye blockage, flush with plenty of water.


STORAGE:

Store in original sealed packaging in a dry area on pallets.

Protect from moisture.


SHELF LIFE:

12 months from the production date on the packaging.
