PROPERTIES:
Nanosilicone plaster Arte-Tynk nanoSN is a ready-to-use plaster with a paste consistency. It is efficient, convenient and easy to use. Silicone plaster creates a water vapor-permeable, hydrophobic coating, protected against the growth of fungi and algae - thanks to the innovative technology of active substances enclosed in capsules. It is characterized by high resistance to damage and weather conditions. Arte-Tynk-nanoSN is a surface plaster with nano technology, fine-grained, for individual modeling. The colors of nanosilicone plasters Arte-Tynk nanoSN are presented in the ARSANIT color palette.
Other colors are also available upon customer request.
PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE:
The substrate should be strong and even, clean of dust, lime, grease, dirt, oil, wax, and remnants of chalk, lime, emulsion and oil paint. Old paint and plaster coatings with insufficient adhesion should be removed and the gaps should be filled using, for example, adhesive mortar. Before applying the plaster, regardless of the type of substrate, a contact layer of Arte-Grunt primer should be applied using the painting technique to obtain an appropriate adhesive layer. It is recommended to use a plaster primer in a color similar to the color of the plaster.
TOOLS:
Drill with mixer, smooth Venetian steel trowel and plastic trowel with bent corners, spiked rollers. Tools should be washed with water immediately after work.
PLASTER PREPARATION:
Nanosilicone plaster Arte-Tynk nanoSN is offered in ready-made form and consistency. It must not be combined with other materials, thickened or diluted. After opening the bucket, the entire plaster should be mixed thoroughly to obtain a uniform consistency.
EXECUTION:
Nanosilicone plaster Arte-Tynk nanoSN with the thickness of aggregate grain should be applied to the prepared and primed substrate, using a smooth stainless steel trowel. In the case of architectural concrete, it is done in two layers: the first layer is applied with a thickness of approximately 1.0 mm, which after application should be stamped with a trowel or trowel. After this operation, the plaster should be left to dry for about 1 to 3 hours, depending on the air temperature and humidity. This structure can also be obtained with a paint roller, smoothing the fresh mass with it. The second layer, about 1 mm thick, after the plaster has dried slightly, start smoothing the plaster with a Venetian trowel with a thicker and stiffer metal sheet. The pitting effect can be created without smoothing some places with a trowel - after prior application with a spiked roller. The thickness of the pits depends on the thickness of the applied plaster layer. After the layer has dried for 6-24 hours, the plaster can be additionally smoothed with a Venetian trowel. In order to make the plaster surface shiny, you can paint the surface with Arte Fix-M until full saturation. The mass is also suitable for applying other structures, for this purpose you can use rollers, stainless steel trowels, plastic trowels, as well as items such as a sponge, cloth, brush, spoon, bottle, etc. Protect during work and drying. against frost, precipitation, too high temperature and strong wind.
In conditions of increased humidity and low temperature of approximately +5°C, the plaster setting time may be extended. During the application and drying of the nano-silicone plaster Arte-Tynk nanoSN the ambient temperature should be +5°C to +28°C also at night.
ATTENTION:
In order to avoid color differences when applying colored silicone plasters, plasters of the same date and production batch should be applied to one surface. Work should be carried out in accordance with the principles of construction practice and occupational health and safety regulations.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT:
THERMATynk-SN should be transported and stored in tightly closed buckets, at a positive temperature.
Protect against moisture and frost.
The shelf life is 12 months from the production date indicated on the packaging.
