STYRAMIK THS-04 is used for gluing polystyrene boards on typical mineral substrates such as bricks, traditional cement or cement-lime plasters, concrete or aerated concrete. STYRAMIK THS-04 adhesive mortar can also be used for filling and filling small holes.

- Easy to use,
- Environmentally friendly,
PROPERTIES:
STYRAMIK THS-04 adhesive mortar is a dry mixture of high-quality cement, minerals and polymers, thanks to which it has high vapor permeability, high efficiency, is easy and convenient to use, making it perfect for gluing Styrofoam boards. STYRAMIK THS-04 adhesive mortar can be used both outside and inside the building.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Consumption: approximately 3.3 to 5.0 kg/m2,
- Mixing proportions: 5.0 – 6.0 L of water per 25 kg of mortar,
- Application temperature: +5°C to +28°C,
- Shelf life: 12 months
MIXTURE PROPORTIONS:
Pour the dry adhesive mortar mixture into approximately 5-6 L of water and mix thoroughly (manually or mechanically) until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The adhesive is ready for use after 5 minutes and re-mixing. STYRAMIK THS-04 adhesive mortar should be used within 2-3 hours.
EXECUTION:
Work should be carried out at temperatures from +5°C to +28°C. The substrate on which STYRAMIK THS-04 adhesive mortar is used should be dry, clean, and free from grease, paint residues and other paint coatings. Highly absorbent substrates should be primed with AKRYL GRUNT STRONGER. In case of gluing to difficult or unstable substrates, an adhesion test should be performed. The STYRAMIK THS-04 adhesive mortar should be applied to the Styrofoam board using a 10-12 mm notched trowel and spread over the entire board surface or in spots, i.e. the mortar should be placed along the edge of the board and in the form of 6-8 patches placed on the board surface. Immediately after applying the adhesive, place the board on the substrate and press it into the desired shape. Select the amount of mortar so that after tapping at least 60% of the board surface is glued. After the mortar dries, attach the polystyrene boards with plastic connectors.
