APPLICATION:
THERMATYNK-A - acrylic plaster is a thin-layer, decorative structural plaster intended for manual execution of internal and external plasters. It is used on all even mineral substrates, such as plaster, plasterboards, concrete and others.
PROPERTIES:
THERMATYNK-A - acrylic plaster is a ready-to-use plaster with a paste consistency, based on a water dispersion of synthetic resins. It is efficient, convenient and easy to use. Acrylic plaster creates a water vapor-permeable, hydrophobic coating, protected against the growth of fungi and algae. It is characterized by high resistance to damage, washing, scrubbing and weather conditions. The colors of THERMATynk-A acrylic plasters are presented in the ARSANIT color palette.
PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE:
The substrate should be strong and even, clean of dust, lime, grease, dirt, oil, wax, and remnants of chalk, lime, emulsion and oil paint. Old paint and plaster coatings with insufficient adhesion should be removed and the gaps should be filled using, for example, adhesive mortar. Before applying the plaster, regardless of the type of substrate, a contact layer of THERMAGRUNT-AM primer should be applied using the painting technique to obtain an appropriate adhesive layer. It is recommended to use a plaster primer in a color similar to the color of the plaster.
PREPARATION:
THERMATYNK-A - acrylic plaster is offered in ready-made form and consistency. It must not be combined with other materials, thickened or diluted. After opening the bucket, mix the entire plaster thoroughly to obtain a uniform consistency.
EXECUTION:
Apply THERMATYNK-A acrylic plaster with the thickness of an aggregate grain to the prepared and primed substrate, using a smooth stainless steel trowel. Excess product should be drawn back into the bucket and mixed again. The resulting surface is textured using a plastic trowel.
- For plaster with a lamb-like structure - in circular motions.
- For plaster with a bark beetle structure - with vertical, horizontal or circular movements, depending on the expected effect.
The open time of the plaster between application and troweling depends on the absorbency of the substrate, ambient temperature and consistency of the mortar. While plastering and drying, protect the plastered surface from sun, wind and rain. The test method should be used to determine the maximum plaster surface that can be applied in one technological cycle (applying and troweling) for the current weather conditions. The material should be applied without allowing the applied layer to dry before applying the next one. Otherwise, the junction of the two layers will be visible. Breaks in work should be properly planned, for example in the corners and bends of the building, under downpipes, at the junction of colors, etc. The drying time of the plaster depends on the substrate, temperature and relative air humidity and ranges from 12 to 48 hours. In conditions of increased humidity and low temperature of approximately +5°C, the plaster setting time may be extended. While applying and drying the THERMATYNK-A acrylic plaster , the ambient temperature should be +5°C to +28°C, also at night.
ATTENTION:
In order to avoid color differences when applying colored acrylic plasters, plasters of the same date and production batch should be applied on one surface.
Work should be carried out in accordance with the principles of construction practice,
