Plaster made of multi-colored, natural quartz stones, with the addition of mica flakes depending on the composition, ensuring high decorative and aesthetic values. The variety of quartz aggregate and irregular shapes of mica flakes give the effect of natural stone. The plaster has very good adhesion, is not sensitive to temperature changes, is also suitable for spray application and effectively seals all cracks. After priming the surface, the plaster can be used on mineral, concrete, gypsum, plasterboard and chipboard substrates.
- High resistance to pollution,
- High resistance to microorganisms and UV radiation,
- Very high resistance to mechanical loads,
- High flexibility guarantees an excellent final architectural effect,
Arte-Tynk STONE is perfect for covering areas subject to heavy use, for example: plinths, corridors, staircases. Plaster looks particularly impressive when decorating walls - ovals, rustications, arches, pillars, cornices, etc.

APPLICATION:
Arte-Tynk STONE decorative plaster is used for decorative plastering on traditional mineral, concrete, gypsum substrates as well as on chipboards, plasterboards, etc. It is perfect for covering parts subject to heavy use, e.g. plinths, corridors, staircases and decorative wall decorations. (ovals, rustications, arches, pillars, cornices). The facade coating made of plaster is resistant to dirt, UV radiation and biological corrosion.
SURFACE PREPARATION TIPS
The surface should be smooth, clean, dry, well bonded - any gaps should be filled with the appropriate mortar, and biological aggression can be eliminated with AntiGLO . Depending on the condition of the substrate, prime with ARSANIT Arte-Grunt in an appropriately selected color. Arte-Tynk STONE can be used on even, load-bearing, dry and free from substances that reduce the adhesion of the substrate, such as fats, bitumen, dust, etc. At a relative humidity of 55%, the ambient and substrate temperature at the time of plaster application and for the next 24 hours does not may be lower than +10°C or higher than +28°C. Products should be stored in cool places, out of sunlight, at temperatures from +5°C to +28°C. During and after the work, until it is completely dry, protect the plaster against unfavorable weather conditions such as strong wind, precipitation, high temperature, sunlight, fog, etc. Arte-Tynk STONE cannot be used on horizontal surfaces not protected from rain. Plaster cannot be used below ground level. Arte-Tynk STONE should only be used on vertical surfaces, without capillary action. The application of Arte-Tynk STONE can be started after the Arte-Grunt plaster primer has fully dried (hardened) , after 24 hours in optimal conditions. The condition of the plaster base can be assessed using an open-hand test by wiping its surface. When used on partitions insulated with XPS or EPS boards, the thickness of the plaster layer should be approximately 4 mm; when using dark colors, a double mesh is recommended - thickness of approximately 8 mm.
LAYER ARRANGEMENT:
Priming: Arte-Grunt , tinted according to the color number of the final coating.
Final layer: Arte-Tynk STONE ; to increase resistance to weather conditions, after complete drying, the plaster surface can be additionally protected with Arte-Fix M. The application of plaster mass on a uniform surface must be performed continuously without breaks. The mica present in Arte-Tynk STONE is a natural raw material, therefore the mica flakes may vary in shape and size, which is a completely normal situation and makes the effect achieved with Arte-Tynk STONE unique .
PREPARATION FOR SPRAY APPLICATION:
To obtain the appropriate consistency for spray application, dilute with water up to 2%.
MIXING:
Mix Arte-Tynk STONE with aggregate and mica manually using a trowel, trowel or mechanically using a low-speed device, e.g. a drill. Do not mix the plaster for too long or too intensely, as this may damage the mica flakes, and the foamed plaster applied to the façade will dry too quickly, which may result in the substrate showing through the plaster layer or the formation of white spots on the plastered surface. Before starting work, check the batch numbers of the material before processing. Do not apply batches of material with different numbers to the same surface - in the case of materials from different production batches, they must be mixed together to uniform the product.
TREATMENT:
Apply Arte-Tynk STONE with a stainless steel trowel. After some time, depending on the weather conditions, smooth the applied material with a steel trowel. The execution technique, tools and substrate have a significant impact on the final effect.
ATTENTION!
The material should not be allowed to dry too quickly, especially in summer. Otherwise, a slight clouding of the binder between the grains may occur and this is especially visible in dark colors. This phenomenon does not affect the performance parameters and durability of the plaster, so it cannot constitute a basis for a complaint about the material.
WEAR:
The consumption of Arte-Tynk STONE is in the range of 2.0 kg - 4.0 kg/m2 and ultimately depends on the type of substrate and application technique. The stated consumption values are approximate values.
