HYDRO GRUNT is a concentrated priming emulsion that penetrates deeply into the substrate, creates a protective layer, strengthens the structure of the substrate and reduces crumbling of its surface, effectively preventing water from entering the substrate in areas exposed to moisture. The emulsion helps regulate the absorbency of the substrate and increases the adhesion of subsequent layers and improves the flow of screeds. Concentrated HYDRO GRUNT is recommended for protecting substrates against moisture in places such as basements, bathrooms, terraces, balconies and wherever there are water problems.

The emulsion is highly concentrated, which increases its efficiency and effectiveness, while effectively protecting the substrate against moisture and ensuring solid preparation for subsequent finishing works. It is used to strengthen cement screeds, improving the adhesion of subsequent layers, such as waterproofing coatings or finishing coatings.

The primed surfaces should be dry, clean, and free from grease. Loose plaster, remnants of paint, and other coatings should be removed.

Removing loosely adhering coatings, plaster, and remnants of paint from the substrate.

Priming the substrate to reinforce, enhance adhesion, and protect against water penetration.

HOW TO USE:

The content of the container should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2, depending on the absorbency of the substrate. Apply the primer to the surface using a brush or roller, as a thin, even layer. Highly absorbent surfaces may be recoated. During priming, the substrate temperature should be between +5°C to +30°C. Further work can be carried out after the substrate is completely dry, approximately 4 hours after application.
