ZAPRAWA ZTM-019 LW - light internal plaster used for machine or manual execution of single- and multi-layer plasters inside buildings, mortar recommended for rooms with high humidity, also suitable for making base plasters for stucco. The substrates can be brick walls and concrete ceilings, ceramic elements, lime-sand elements, lightweight concrete elements, etc. After mixing with water, it creates a homogeneous plaster mass with very high adhesion to the surface.
- For use in rooms with high humidity,
- Highly vapor permeable,
- For indoor use,
- Easy to use on various substrates,
- Fine-grained,
- For manual or machine application,
- Long application time,
ZAPRAWA ZTM-019 LW is a light interior mortar intended for use inside buildings, especially in rooms with high humidity. Produced on the basis of cement and high-quality minerals, it is very comfortable, easy to use and very efficient.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Consumption: up to 1.1 kg/m2 per 1 mm of mortar layer thickness,
- Mixing proportions: approximately 6.6 liters of water per 30 kg of mortar,
- Layer thickness: 5 mm - 20 mm,
- Application temperature: +5°C to +28°C,
- High vapor permeability,
- For use: indoors only,
- Application method: mechanical / manual,
- Grain size: 0.0 – 0.6 mm,
- Shelf life: 9 months,
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
It is recommended to apply plaster after the period of settling, shrinkage and drying of the walls or shrinkage of walls and other concrete elements, such as:
- after at least 2-3 months in the case of brick walls,
- at least 4-6 months after the construction of walls and concrete elements,
The substrates should be durable, stiff, not changing dimensions, and even to avoid places of excessive plaster thickening. Plastered surfaces should be free from dust, soot, fats, grease, organic agents, paints, etc.
The dry substrate should be wetted with clean water immediately before plastering:
- wet brick walls with moderately clean water,
- wet concrete walls abundantly with clean water,
- wet highly absorbent substrates, aerated concrete and aerated concrete, with moderately clean water,
On uneven, highly absorbent and dusty substrates, it is recommended to prime with B-TON KONTAKT.
MORTAR PREPARATION:
The dry mixture should be mixed in approximately 6.6 liters of clean, cool water, mixing in a plastering machine or mechanically using a concrete mixer. The mechanical mixing time should be 2-3 minutes. After mixing the first batch of mortar, check its consistency and correct the amount of water added. The established mixing ratio with water should be recorded so that subsequent batches of mortar are prepared in the same way.
Do not mix the hardened mortar with water or mix it with fresh material.
HOW TO USE:
The mortar should be applied evenly over the entire plastered surface and leveled with a patch. In the case of a single layer of 5 mm - 20 mm plaster, final leveling and troweling with a plastic, metal or felt trowel should be performed after the plaster begins to set:
- on primed substrates after about 4 hours,
- in a piping bag after about 6 hours,
When applying several layers of mortar, apply the next layer after the previous layer has set after approximately 24 hours to increase adhesion. If necessary, the plaster should be moistened with clean water from time to time.
No foreign admixtures may be added to the mortar, and only clean water may be used for mixing.
